TL;DR: DentuEase is designed to protect your personal health information. All logs (including discomfort zones, cleaning routines, product names, and appointments) are stored exclusively on your local iOS device. We do not collect, transmit, or share your data.
1. Offline-First Storage
DentuEase is an offline-first mobile app. All discomfort reports, denture profiles, cleaning notes, and checkup reminders are saved locally using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not maintain cloud databases or remote servers, and we never transmit your health data over the internet.
2. No Account Creation
We do not require user accounts, emails, or logins. The app works completely offline immediately upon download. No registration information is stored or requested.
3. Local Device Sync
DentuEase does not synchronize your data across multiple devices or cloud platforms. Your data stays securely on the iPhone or iPad where you created it. You can generate a portable PDF report at any time via the Statistics screen to share with your dentist.
4. Zero Third-Party Analytics or Trackers
DentuEase has no advertisements, tracking scripts, or analytics SDKs. Standard, anonymous crash reports are handled by Apple only if you have consented to share diagnostic logs in your iOS system settings.
5. iOS Permissions
Depending on your usage, DentuEase may request the following system permissions:
- Notifications: Optional. Used to schedule local daily push alerts reminding you to clean or soak your denture, or reminding you of scheduled dental checkups. These alerts are managed entirely on-device and do not require server connections.
- Photos: Optional. Used only via the native SwiftUI PhotosPicker if you select an optional photo for your denture profile. Images are loaded and rendered locally on your device.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect future updates or App Store changes. Any updates will be published on this page. Because we do not store any contact details, we recommend checking this page or the App Store release notes for updates.
